MTF, also known as Matanuska Thunderfuck, is a legendary heirloom strain born in Alaska’s rugged Matanuska Valley. Revered since the 1970s, this cultivar earned cult status for its shockingly frosty buds and slow-creeping potency that sneaks up even on seasoned consumers. After nearly vanishing during the 1990s crackdown, MTF has made a powerful comeback through modern preservation efforts.

Visually, MTF is unmistakable—compact, heart-shaped buds glow neon green beneath a thick blanket of icy white trichomes, evoking its Alaskan roots. The aroma is bold and complex, blending musky earth, fresh pine, skunky mint, and subtle chocolate spice.
